Two small items sit in your browser while you use the site, both listed in the table above. One is written to local storage and simply stops the cookie banner from reopening once you have closed it. The other sits in session storage and holds the name of the car you last clicked, so that if you move on to the enquiry form it already shows that model instead of a blank list. Neither item carries your name, email, phone number or booking details, and the session entry disappears as soon as you close the tab or submit the form.

To display our chosen typefaces and to format the phone-number field correctly, the site asks two outside services to supply a file:

• Google Fonts supplies the lettering used across the site; Google's servers see the request and the visitor's IP address.
• jsDelivr, a content delivery network, supplies the intl-tel-input library used by the phone field in our enquiry and airport-delivery forms; jsDelivr's servers see the request and the visitor's IP address.

Neither service sets a cookie on our behalf; they simply deliver a file to your browser. Our footer also links out to our Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot profiles, but these are plain links: nothing from those platforms loads or runs until you actively click one.

Tapping a WhatsApp button on this site does two things. First, the site notes the click in our own booking system, together with the page you were on, the referring page, your browser's language and the pre-filled message text, so our team has context when you message us. Second, it opens WhatsApp itself. The conversation that follows runs entirely on WhatsApp, operated by Meta, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not ours. Until you tap the button, nothing is sent to WhatsApp and no WhatsApp cookie or script is loaded on this site.

Your browser lets you view, block or delete local storage and session storage through its settings, usually under privacy or site data; clearing site data for florenceluxurycarrental.com removes both entries described above. Blocking Google Fonts or jsDelivr through browser extensions will not stop the site from working, though pages may load with a fallback font or a plainer phone field.
