Florence Luxury Car Rental operates florenceluxurycarrental.com, offering luxury and sports car rental, chauffeur-driven hire and airport delivery in and around Florence. We publish no separate trading address on this site; all written correspondence about a booking is handled at [email protected].

These terms apply to every vehicle listed on the site, across all categories we offer, and to any day rate quoted, including rates starting from €210 per day. They do not apply to services booked through any other channel.

Nothing is booked automatically. A visitor sends an enquiry through the website form, or contacts us by email, phone or WhatsApp, specifying the dates, the car of interest and any other requirements.

We reply with a written quote stating the car, dates, price and what is included. The booking is only confirmed once we have sent written confirmation and received the agreed deposit on the main driver's credit card. Until that confirmation is sent, either side may withdraw from the enquiry without consequence.

Quoted prices cover use of the vehicle for the agreed dates, the mileage allowance and the insurance described in the quote. They do not include fuel, tolls, fines, extra kilometres, or any additional service requested after confirmation, such as a different handover point or an extended chauffeur service.

For self-drive hires we generally arrange handover at Florence Peretola airport, Pisa arrivals or a hotel in the Lungarno area rather than in the historic centre, so that clients avoid camera-enforced ZTL restrictions and the lack of parking in central Florence. Where relevant, we advise on which car suits which route — for example a convertible for the SS222 through Greve, or a larger SUV for the autostrada legs to Lucca or Pisa — but this guidance does not change the price quoted.

Bookings are not paid online on this website. Payment of the rental price and the refundable security deposit is arranged directly with our team, by card in the name of the main driver, as set out in the written quote.

The security deposit ranges from €1,500 to €250,000 depending on the car booked. It is held on the main driver's credit card and released within 7 business days after the car is returned, once we have checked for outstanding fines and tolls.

Because a car rental is a leisure service tied to specific dates, the 14-day right of withdrawal that normally applies to distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU does not apply here; Article 16(l) of that Directive, transposed into Italian law as Article 59 of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), excludes accommodation, transport and leisure services for a specific date from withdrawal rights. Our cancellation terms below apply instead, and are deliberately client-friendly.

Cancellation is free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Cancelling within 72 hours of pick-up incurs a charge of 50% of the total booking value. If the client does not show up for the booked pick-up, no refund is given.

Changes to dates or vehicle, requested before pick-up, are handled case by case in writing and may affect the price; they are not guaranteed until we confirm them.

We may cancel or need to change a confirmed booking where weather makes a route unsafe, where we identify a safety or technical issue with the booked vehicle, or where a force majeure event beyond our control prevents the rental from proceeding as planned.

In any of these cases we will offer a comparable replacement vehicle where one is available, or a full refund of amounts already paid for the affected period if no suitable alternative can be arranged. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as missed flights or other travel arrangements, arising from such a cancellation.

The main driver must be at least 23 years old with at least 2 years of driving licence held; vehicles with more than 500 hp require a minimum age of 25.

At handover, the main driver must present a valid driving licence, a passport or identity document, and a credit card in their own name for the security deposit. Holders of a non-EU licence may be asked to also present an International Driving Permit.

Handover and return take place at the location and time agreed in the written confirmation, typically Peretola airport, Pisa arrivals or a hotel in the Lungarno area. Our team inspects the vehicle together with the client at both handover and return, noting its condition, fuel level and mileage.

Driving the car abroad, on a track day, or off-road is not permitted unless we have given prior written approval. Smoking and pets are not allowed in any of our vehicles.

Each booking includes 250 km per day; kilometres driven beyond that allowance are charged per kilometre at the rate stated in the quote.

The car must be returned with the same fuel level it had at handover. Any shortfall is charged at the cost of the fuel plus a refuelling service fee.

Any traffic fine, toll or parking charge incurred during the rental period is the renter's responsibility. Where such charges are notified to us after the rental, we pass them on to the renter together with an administrative fee.

Insurance cover is included as described in the written quote for each booking. In the event of damage caused while the renter is at fault, the renter is liable for the excess specified in that quote; the security deposit may be used to cover it.

The vehicle may only be used for ordinary road travel by the named drivers, within the limits described above. Using the car for racing, instruction, sub-hire, carrying passengers for payment, or any unlawful purpose is prohibited and will void insurance cover for the incident concerned.

Our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the price paid for that booking, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory rules of Italian law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We are not liable for losses caused by the renter's breach of these terms, by third parties, or by events outside our control.

Any complaint about a booking should be sent to [email protected] with the booking reference and details of the issue. We will acknowledge and address complaints promptly and in writing.

The content, photographs and listings on florenceluxurycarrental.com are provided to describe our fleet and services and may not be reproduced without our permission. The site itself does not process payments; all financial terms are agreed in writing as described above.

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from a booking is subject to the jurisdiction of the Italian courts, and where the client is a consumer, the court of the place where the consumer resides or is domiciled, as determined under Italian law.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The version published on the website at the time a booking is confirmed applies to that booking.
